This is a very short video of me working on my ambush technique for BOS multiplayer. Whenever possible, this is the manner of attack I will employ in multiplayer.

Good boom and zooming  :)

Thanks a lot! I am new to the WW2 genre, having a WW1 flight sim background. At the moment, I am using Pokryshkin as my role model. Like Erich Hartmann, he emphasized a simple, logical, actionable approach to aerial tactics. His altitude, speed, maneuver, fire approach will be the foundation and basis of my evolving tactics. Hopefully, one day, we will have all of the planes that Pokryshkin used in battle. (I think that we are going to have at least three Pokryshkin rides in BOS, the I-16, the Yak-1, and the IL2, though I don't think that he used the IL2 in combat. He may have also taken the La-5 out in combat, but I am not too sure. I am sure he tested it out, though.) The Yak-1, IL2, and the I-16 and that isn't a bad start!) From what I have read about Pokryshkin, he seems to have favored the Mig-3, even over the famed Yak-1. I don't know if he had a Yak-1 with a M-105PF engine or a less powerful engine, but I am greatly intrigued by any contemporary VVS machine that would get such a practical tactician, as Pokryshkin, out out of a Yak-1.
