Question about a default control

So for example when you check default control for "Window open/close" the suggested buttons is L Win+C. So what exactly is L Win ??

On your keyboard, to the left and the right of the space bar you'll find the "Win" key. Sometimes it's marked with the windows logo, other times the manufactures logo. The set-up on my keyboard is:  L-Ctrl, L-Win, L-Alt, Space Bar, R-Alt, R-Win, and R-Ctrl. Laptops may have a different set-up.
