Blitzen Posted November 28, 2018 Posted November 28, 2018 Steam is not doing the job of an uninstall & re-install i have to do to try to get rid of the reoccurring problem I have ( see below.) and problematic starts in STEAM, so I have to do it the old fashioned way with the uninstaller in the BIN folder- no problem. I have also downloaded the installer through the official Il-2 Battle of Moscow ( Great Battles et al) site. when started it wants to install Battle of Moscow, but not in the Steamapps/Common site.Does this matter?.For some reason ,I have BOTH BoM & BoS in the steamapps/common folder.I just need a word to guide me & keep all the skins, missions etc. in the game in the proper place & fully functioning with or without a steam start. Thanks!
Kalthios Posted November 28, 2018 Posted November 28, 2018 (edited) You can't use the great battles launcher with steam unless you add a non-steam-game to steam, and then it is only a shortcut. I don't have VR so I can't really help you with that, though I read some where that some people are using previous VR steam drivers to fix bugs. Edited November 28, 2018 by Kalthios
Kalthios Posted November 28, 2018 Posted November 28, 2018 Just make sure you copy your mods over to the installation you want to use and then uninstall the ones you don't, either from the control panel, steam, or with the uninstaller in the game folder. It shouldn't really matter which method you use.
