40plus Posted November 28, 2018 Posted November 28, 2018 Is it normal that the trees follow me as I fly past? It appears that when flying at mid/low level altitudes the trees behave as sprites and rotate to present the same face to the player as he/she moves. It's flattering that they all want to watch my skills but I fly in VR and this one thing is the biggest immersion breaker I've encountered. Is there a graphics setting that can stop this? I'm setup with ultra everything right now. I'm hoping I just have some setting wrong and that it isn't a fundamental limitation of the engine. I've not noticed it in any of the YouTube videos I've watched so I'm hopeful. Cheers
unreasonable Posted November 28, 2018 Posted November 28, 2018 I have noticed a similar effect in non-VR but only really when looking straight down at lowish altitudes. It looks as though the Predator or something is whooshing through the forest causing a disturbance in space-time. 1
