ACG_Invictus Posted November 27, 2018 Posted November 27, 2018 Anyone own one or have any experience with it? I'm considering buying one for DCS and BMS more than IL-2, but curious if anyone has tried it with this sim.....
SCG_motoadve Posted November 27, 2018 Posted November 27, 2018 Good find, really want some sort of force feedback for my Virpil josytick. Some guys complained the the MSFFB gives sttuters in IL2 BOS though. Interested to see if anyone uses it here.
Sokol1 Posted November 27, 2018 Posted November 27, 2018 (edited) FYI - ForseSense is not "Force Feedback" - that respond to game outputs, but is based on load cell - like cook scale. ? A ForceSense stick is like F-16 control stick, barely move few millimeters. Edited November 27, 2018 by Sokol1
ACG_Invictus Posted November 27, 2018 Author Posted November 27, 2018 The FSSB is a force sensing joystick like the one found in the F16 i.e. the stick doesn't move like a standard joystick. It operates your controls by sensing how much pressure you apply.to it. It's not a force feedback stick like the MSFFB. 1 minute ago, Sokol1 said: FYI - ForseSense is not "Force Feedback" - that respond to game outputs, but is based on load cell - like cook scale. ? SCG_motoadve Posted November 27, 2018 Posted November 27, 2018 Ok, thanks for explaining, I am looking for force feedback
Sgt_Joch Posted November 27, 2018 Posted November 27, 2018 (edited) I have had a FSSB R1 in a modified cougar for many years now. It is a very high quality, expensive part, still works perfectly and is very precise. it takes some getting used to since the stick does not move and only reacts to your hand pressure, so you have to make sure it is securily mounted otherwise the whole stick will move. I still have it, but only use it for jet sims these days. I tried it in IL2 and RoF, it works fine, but it feels out of place in prop sims. Edited November 27, 2018 by Sgt_Joch
