Watch and learn?

Got the idea yesterday after fighting in/with a coop mission from PWCG. Tried it 3 times by now, with no success. Getting my G4 ass handed over by two Spits everytime.

My AI wingman was distraction at best.

So i had the idea to offer that said mission to the community, to see if and how someone can cope with these 2 relentless Spits, and even provide a recorded track to watch how he did it?

Is this something you guys are interessted in? could be done for all kind of missions and scenarios if someone is in needs of inspiration or in my case encouragement.

It might be better if you uploaded a track or video recording of your encounter so members could offer specific critiques to your flying style. That might be better in the long run than having someone else show you how they would fly the mission.

you are right, also works that way. if i get to fly this evening i can record a track. would still be interesting to sit in an experts shoes.

Regardless of where this goes, your avatar is pure gold.

OK, just did a new try, ended faster than i expected

Track

and for those who want to try

Mission File

Its a coop mission from PWCG, just copy to  your coop dir and create a new server

Since it didnt take long for the Spits to end on my tail, how to start the engagement? Gain altitude, dive, break left or right, head home?

Would probably make a recording of it with some video recording software, having to download and put the files into Il2 and then fire it up and watch it I have my doubts anyone is going to do it.

Yeah definitely make a video of you doing it.

I don't even know how to install that mission.

I downloaded the track and coop mission but haven't looked it over yet, but as a suggestion, this would be an ideal use for Tacview.  SYN_Requiem is doing a new Youtube series where if you record a TacView file and send it to him ()along with the track) he'll do his usual professional analysis.  Could be a good challenge for him,

But also using Tacview for your own analysis and learning "in the privacy of your own home", as teh ads used to say, can be a great tool.

Geez I saw the track date was from 2018 and came back to see this thread was a zombie.  Embarassed.
