TheBlackPenguin Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Cool, thanks for sharing . Although you might want to change the link to exclude the time as its linked to start at the end of the trailer, not the beginning.
TheBlackPenguin Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 (edited) weird must be your browser Negative...You have https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6I7HCitb9Eg#t=114 , with the "t=114" you have inadvertently told youtube to start the trailer at 114 seconds into the clip. oblongmushroom Posted February 11, 2014 Author Posted February 11, 2014 Not sure how that happened when I copied the link. The same link starts correctly in my browser. good to know Sorry about that.
6./ZG26_Emil Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Not a good way to load/fire a mortar 1:40
Georgio Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 (edited) Not a good way to load/fire a mortar 1:40 I'm surprised they didn't go all the way and look down the tube to see if it makes the bottom... Still my favourite mortar fail: http://youtu.be/2hF-5DY6kTU Stalingrad does look cinematic, we'll just have to see if the story is as good. Still it does look better than the Mighty 8th which was hilarious to watch the trailer. Edited February 11, 2014 by Georgio
Bladderburst Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Doesn't look realistic. If you really want to get angry go watch red tails.
MarcoRossolini Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 And it ain't very realistic, it falls into the trap of other films (Titanic springs to mind here) of being too focused on personal events rather than this massive battle that claimed the lives of a million people or more.

Realism, try the documentary section sir.
Feathered_IV Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 hell i dont even watch those links Me either.
MarcoRossolini Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Realism, try the documentary section sir. There's plenty of films out there which manage to encompass personal and grand events. Some films just get all obsessed with the personal rubbish. Casablanca does it well: "You know 3 little people don't amount to a whole hill of beans in this world".
Cybermat47 Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 hell i dont even watch those links are we being desensitivitized? i think so Me either. You're right. The fact that Islamic extremists have no regard for Human life should mean that we should treat them in the same way. In fact, I think that we should always try to keep the moral high ground. There's plenty of films out there which manage to encompass personal and grand events. Some films just get all obsessed with the personal rubbish. Casablanca does it well: "You know 3 little people don't amount to a whole hill of beans in this world". What's wrong with telling a personal story that takes place simultaneously with a major historical event? One of my favourite movies is Das Boot, because it's not a movie about the Battle of the Atlantic, it's a movie about the personal experiences of a U-boat crew.
HeavyCavalrySgt Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Not a good way to load/fire a mortar 1:40 Wow, the next scene should be of a sergeant with a pulsing vein in his forehead having an absolute fit.
Scarecrow Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 In order to make a film with that amount of effects you need to get alot of people to pay to watch it. In order to get the general public to go see a war movie you've got to include a human story. What is good about this film is that it might awaken a wider audience to the existance of a war on the eastern front. I'd say BOS will also benefit from this release. I'm quite hopeful this might not be utter dreck like Red Tails was.
