Cool, thanks for sharing :). Although you might want to change the link to exclude the time as its linked to start at the end of the trailer, not the beginning.

I'm surprised they didn't go all the way and look down the tube to see if it makes the bottom...

Still my favourite mortar fail:

Stalingrad does look cinematic, we'll just have to see if the story is as good.

Still it does look better than the Mighty 8th which was hilarious to watch the trailer.

Doesn't look realistic.

If you really want to get angry go watch red tails.

And it ain't very realistic, it falls into the trap of other films (Titanic springs to mind here) of being too focused on personal events rather than this massive battle that claimed the lives of a million people or more.

There's plenty of films out there which manage to encompass personal and grand events. Some films just get all obsessed with the personal rubbish.

Casablanca does it well: "You know 3 little people don't amount to a whole hill of beans in this world".

Me either.

You're right. The fact that Islamic extremists have no regard for Human life should mean that we should treat them in the same way. In fact, I think that we should always try to keep the moral high ground.

What's wrong with telling a personal story that takes place simultaneously with a major historical event? One of my favourite movies is Das Boot, because it's not a movie about the Battle of the Atlantic, it's a movie about the personal experiences of a U-boat crew.

Wow, the next scene should be of a sergeant with a pulsing vein in his forehead having an absolute fit.

In order to make a film with that amount of effects you need to get alot of people to pay to watch it. In order to get the general public to go see a war movie you've got to include a human story. What is good about this film is that it might awaken a wider audience to the existance of a war on the eastern front. I'd say BOS will also benefit from this release. I'm quite hopeful this might not be utter dreck like Red Tails was.
