Pikmug Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 Hello! I bought a throttle during black friday. I used to fly with only joystick and use the mouse to look around, this worked pretty good and now i want to use the little analog xbox like stick on the throttle to do the same. The problem is that it always snaps back to the original position when I let go of the stick, unlike with the mouse. Does anybody of you know how to fix this?
Sokol1 Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 (edited) Can try programming thumb-stick axes with TARGET for work in relative mode - instead actual absolute mode, then the spring return to center make no effect, but you need set a button for "reset view" eventually. But the thump operated 8 way HAT in TCWS can provide a good camera control, using IL-2 native "pan" option. Edited November 24, 2018 by Sokol1
Pikmug Posted November 24, 2018 Author Posted November 24, 2018 Thank you! I tried it and it does work, it is however not very accurate and smooth when compared to a mouse view control. Perhaps it is time to go and look for some head trackers... But first I will also try the thumb button with the pan viewing
