Pre-resenting a development team because you were unhappy with a whole other team and an unrelated product....

Does that mean you make nothing of the experiences you had ?

They tend to hang out more in their native language forum more than in the foreign language forums.  This is surprising?  Or a reason to be upset?

As I said, it's understandable, but if the result, as others suggested is that in Russian you have a whole new level of info and responses about the development then it can be in the international forum. I don't think it would be smart for the Devs to care about multiple translations but at least in English would be just "fair".

Why? Did you not read all of the dev diaries? The latest information from those two were well after you purchased your standard edition, the information they've brought here has only been minimal in terms of how long the dev diaries have been going on.

So this looks to be a direct insult towards the developers. I won't defend them, they have 4 years of excellent RoF support to defend them. That says a lot more than being burned by new developers (WoT, War Thunder and even CloD).

Dev Diaries are more than good to me. I guess I missed some of them but that wasn't the point. I'm talking about what others indicated in casual threads, here and there. As Feathered said, Russian guys come back here to translate for instance.

Yes, if you say it like that, but you put it down a little simplistic than it is. I could have felt a different treatment as a non-Swedish customer in a Swedish game years-experience and during a holiday seeing that room service for non-Armenian clients is not of the same quality. Totally different things, still same concept. Some things like in this case, what comes from a different presence of Devs on forums: it's something you could have seen somewhere else no matter who or where.

If in the past that has led to negative results for you, I guess it's only reasonable to have a bad feelings about it.

I don't hold them to account for CloD as for WoT or everything else before. I have bought the standard game package, if that was the case I wouldn't be here in the first place.

@The_Blackadder:

If its so important for You to be informed about the development progress, how comes that You missed dev diaries?

I didn't missed any of them. Every friday I am refreshing the general discussion page with my mobilephone while being stuck at work. It became some kind of tradition!

First because I can't use my phone while working and then because I'm careless

Ok, Could we stop the discussion about putative concerns there and leave it for Tatarenko's news from the russian forum?

Many thank's in advance.

I wonder if the French, German and Italian forums have as great a need for hand holding.

No, but personally i would like have one only English forum for all of us, Russians included.

I understand, but then again, you can't really fault the devs for sometimes wanting to communicate with the community in their native tounge. It would indeed be great to have just one forum in one language. Unfortunately not everybody speaks English, and not all of those who do speak it very well.

Maybe we should just have one forum, not in English but in Volapük. That way all nations would be on an equal footing.

GT translate satisfactorily, if one dont want Shakespeare english - e.g. GT translate better one DD than "official" translation.

So if someone wants to know the news and different opinions, have option. Of course, use those who want. It's only my 0,02$. :P
