specail edition aircraft views?

hello everyone

i mostly (read totally for now but will go online soon) play single player campaign and qmb along with random custom scenarios and really enjoying the game as im trying to get myself back into ww2 and thank to flying circus ww1 era combat flight sims and was wondering what peoples views are on the spitfire MKVB and the other specail edition aircraft  whther its worth picking up any for single player or when i get on it multiplayer flying? i own all the expansions along with flying circus and bdenplate plus becasue i love ww2 armour i own the tank pack. special aircraft wise apart from the ones from bodenlate and flying circus i only own the p40 as in single player its the most worth the cost i feel (usable in 3 theatres) so im wondering in your opions is their any other specail edition aircraft i should buy for single player for now and for learning to fly for multiplayer?

I would say the Yak1B for "easy" mode. Note that isn't necessarily "easy", but I feel you will have a better time with it if it gonna be your first try on MP (since its kinda forgiving).

The Spitfire V is fun for Kuban and fairly simple to fly though it has a bit of a speed deficit.

Hi, if you, like myself, play mostly singleplayer, the following information might be of use:

 

BoM + BoS + BoK collector planes

- P-40

- Ju 52

BoM + BoS collector planes:

- MC.202 Series VIII BoS collector plane: - FW 190 A3

BoS + BoK collector planes:

- La5 ser.8

- HS 129

BoK collector planes:

- La5FN (late BoK)

- Spitfire V

- YaK 1B

- Me 109 G6 (late BoK)

 

If you want the best fighter plane, go for the La5-FN, but you can fly it only late in BoK career. If you want a good fighter you can use on 2 modules in SP take the La5-ser8.

 

If you want an easy to fly competitive plane for MP, I´d take the Yak 1B over the Spitfire V, but that might be due to personal taste.

 

Not an easy decision. However, sooner or later you will buy them all ?

I'd say the Ju52 is a hard pass.  It serves little purpose except as a target drone.  I own all the aircraft, and the Ju 52 is the only one I wish I had not wasted the money on.

It has a very vocal, and very small, group of fans who will shortly be at my door with pitchforks and torches, but so be it.  I call them like I see them.

Very tough choice between 190-A3, spit mk.5 and yak1b imo.

 

-Spit mk.V for SP career, it's a Spit what else to say

 

-Fw190-A3 for MP and SP  (even MP is already overcrowded with axis), best when flown with wingman.

Pure elegance and joy to fly, fast and agile, not so good climber but excellent diver !

 

-Yak1 s.127 is very usable and competitive both in MP and SP career.

Easy to fly, fast enough to follow 190 on deck, good turner and ok climber.

 

Imo yak1.b and 190a3 are the most usable in MP and SP, but again Spit in career  is such pleasure to fly!
