40plus Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 Your in-plane VR experience is second to none but when trying to navigate the user interface menus I think Frontier have done a better job with their Elite Dangerous implementation. In Elite Dangerous a user wearing a VR helmet can seamlessly navigate all menus using just their joystick or HOTAS setup. With IL-2 I still have to reach blindly for a mouse. If you guys could implement something similar to Elite or perhaps make it so the mouse cursor could be bound to a joystick axis and clicks bind-able to a button it would be a nice quality of life improvement. Thanks (If this is already doable and I missed it I apologize, I tried but couldn't make it work) 1 2
IRRE_Axurit Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 (edited) I quite agree with you, they focused the VR universe on the flying part of the game, but knowing the huge projects they have and the quality they bring with such a small team, I would not know their to hold rigor. But it's very true, everything that is not specifically part of the flight is quite unpleasant, and even flying the map is not practical, and the original zoom has nothing to do with the quality of the lefuneste mod. JonRedcorn Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 We absolutely need a higher level of zoom for multiplayer purposes, flying career or quick battle with tags on is no issue, flying online and trying not to shoot down friendlies is almost impossible without the mod and I am dying for the mod to be working again. 1
TwoDogs Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 (edited) +1 for the OPs suggestion. I’m coming here from the DCS community. With a full clickable cockpit and the ability to map keys or dx buttons to your HOTAS, I’m able to interact with any system or menu in the game. Although I would love to have a clickable pit ,the menu interaction would be a great improvement. Thanks for your consideration Edited December 3, 2018 by TwoDogs 1
