Rattlesnake Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 On the DCS P-51 10 degrees of maneuvering flaps makes it easier to feel the onset of stall. I was just trying it out and 10 degrees flaps seems to be doing the same thing for the Jug in Il-2. Without them the first warning you get is left wing drop, with them there is a slight shaking through the stick. Okay, this is interesting: Having cowl flaps wide open gives you a VERY pronounced shaking near stall.
