SCRYABIN Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 As most of us i guess, i played COD and despite the games don't have the same objective, goals, ambitions, respectiive strengths and weekness i remain very attached to cod gestion of heads movements, that i think helps to feel how small and unsignifiant a man is when a flying metal coffin goes for a spin, a stall, i think that as a gamplay features, it emphasis the fact that, we player are trying to take control over a plane, head movement is also a 3d clue to be more sensitive for Gs, this allows to better feel the landing phase, climbing, dives , crashs, also aggressive dogfight at very short distance in wich violent blow of rudder can be executed. I realy d'ont feel that much in bos, landings feels a bit like boardcard and plastic to me, violent maneuver feels untrue, too smooth i wonder if this may be an ajustable option just like in COD so player could fine their own fine experience. the mean of this thread isn't about cod vs bos, i wanted to know community opinion about the simulation of mouvements, and if some other would agree on that, and see maybe more of it add in the game !
Barnacles Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 I agree with you, in that the sensation of being thrown around by violent manoeuvres is quite subtle in BoX (but I think it's ok), but I can't stand the current system in CloD, (it makes me feel like it's a camera on a spring) and wish that MP servers would turn it off. It's also incorrect in CloD, as for a constant roll, where angular acceleration is zero, your head still gets deflected over to the side. That said, you do get a good sensation from it (CloD) sometimes, so maybe with some refinement I'd like it.
