Wind, Wind socks

IL2 has always been the most accurate flight simulator for me, especially for the landing part.

And with Battle Of Stalingrad, IL2 has succeeded in attaining a new standard. I found it as difficult to land the La3 in IL2 BOS as to landing a real Piper J3 for my first time!

 

Now what I would love to see in this new IL2 is an even more accurate modelization of wind effects at landing (cross wind, wind shear), and to visualize the wind impact, a wind sock near each airfield would be a great add-on. Is such a feature possible without deteriorating the gameplay and faithfulness to historical reality?

Ok sorry so for the Wind Sock you had already added it (I just found it today taking off in the Stalingrad free flight scenario with the La3) - looks great

Can ay of the developers confirm or deny if they are tied to the missions weather/wind settings?
