Voyager Posted November 21, 2018 Posted November 21, 2018 So this series is on my short list of games to get, but I need to wait until after Christmas at the moment. In the mean time, I'm wondering if, once I have gotten it, there is a way to, essentially set up a jump seat in VR, to bring a non-flier/non-gamer along for the ride? Sort of what I'm thinking would be to set up two separate views, basically the standard 2d one on the monitor, but if it could be controlled independently from the VR view, so I could put the other person in the headset and they could sight see, while I'm running the plane. Don't know if it is even possible, though I do see that in most VR games, the headset view is mirrored to the desktop. Thoughts? Harry Voyager
ironk79 Posted November 22, 2018 Posted November 22, 2018 i dont think its possible. But you can record your flight ingame and then play that track. The viewer can freely look around while that track is "played". But i suspect for untrained individuals it will be a challenge to withstand motion sickness.
DD_Crash Posted November 22, 2018 Posted November 22, 2018 You could load a single mission and turn on the autopilot. Your friends can look around whilst the AP does the flying.
