I did a painting years ago for a lady who was out there with her husband during the bulge. He was a fuel bowser driver on an improvised (matting) airfield somewhere in Holland and was actually ontop of his (full) bowser when a load of German planes screamed in dropping bombs and strafing the airfield. He drew his revolver and started shooting at the planes completely forgetting that he was standing on a big fat target, only afterwards did he think about what could have happened...?
Chief_Mouser Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 Fuel management is a must have for me (as long as it's optional for those that don't want to use it). Nothing annoys me more than picking up a hit in a wing tank and watching the whole fuel load gradually drain away and there's nothing I can do about it.
