Failed tp Update after 3.007 Update

The latest update installed no problem. Flying in it it crashed out with a texture problem.

Every time I run the launcher now it goes through its cycle..."Checking update cash" etc then I get "Failed to Update"

 

I have updated on this machine for years, nothing changed from the hard ware side.

 

The game will not launch.

Any ideas?

Are you using the Launcher.exe? It is the update game launcher.

Was working OK until the hot fix now does as above!

UPDATE!

 

After trying four times earlier with the fail to update message the result, tried again just now and all is OK!

 

No idea why.

This may sound like a silly question, but is you IL2 BOS Viewer open? Looking back now, mine was inadvertently open when I tried to launch with the hot patch update and I got the fail.

 

Forgetting that I had closed it sometime afterwards, along with PS and various other things that were open that should not have been, plum forgot about that it had been open, so maybe just check that out before trying again.
