Uriah Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 I've been trying to take off with the LAGG and am having a devil of a time. I have the engine warmed up. Max mixture. Full forward on the prop pitch (high pitch). I can get going down the runway fairly straight (that took a while to learn). I keep the nose down a bit to keep from lifting off too soon at too low a speed. The plane leaves the runway ok at about 210km/h but the right wing goes up and the plane roles the the left.
dburne Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 (edited) Are you still feeding in some left rudder as your wheels lift off? I have gotten to where by the end of my takeoff run I am applying no rudder and it takes off pretty level for me. I will say though, I have found I do not need to keep the nose down with forward pressure, I hold no pressure on the stick during my takeoff run - it does not lift off too soon for me. Uriah Posted February 10, 2014 Author Posted February 10, 2014 I found the issue. Somehow I reversed the direction on the ailerons. After that it took off just fine. Thanks for the reply though.
