HeavyCavalrySgt Posted November 20, 2018 Posted November 20, 2018 Weeks had a problem during a 'high' speed fly by with his Pup and it sucked the cowling into the prop and engine, fortunately right over the approach end of the runway. It is interesting to see the amount of damage the plane took and apparently still was flyable and controllable with no problems. I was also interested in how they rigged the wings, with one jig and a lot of eyeballing- and a Mustang loaning its wing as a work stand.
FurphyForum Posted November 20, 2018 Posted November 20, 2018 A very, very lucky man. Thing could of gone pear shaped real fast in that approach.
