Blitzen Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 I'm thinking part of my control problems in this beta version of this sim & not other older ones may be traced back to never upgrading my FFB to Windows 7 standard.I've searched around for a patch or upgrade but have gone up several blind alleys.Does anyone know isuch an uprade exists & where it might be found? Thanks!
Uriah Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 I don't. but I use the MS Sidewinder FFB 2 on Windows 7 and have no issue that I have noticed. The software to make adjustments will not install but it seems not to be a big deal.
Bearcat Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 I use Total Game Control as profiling SW.. it works great.
Blitzen Posted February 10, 2014 Author Posted February 10, 2014 Maybe all is as it should be , but I have a lot of yoy-yo-ing and no real steady performance on any axis. This makes aiming almost impossible.I have no problems like this in Il-2 or CloD or even RoF. I also don't get any landing & takeoff bumps or bullet hits but these may yet to be part of the Sim.I'd like to keep my FFB for this game but can't see doing so with the performance problems I am having...
z0ttel Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Blitzen, I have same troubles with my FFB2. In Il2 or ROF, the effects are strong and really noticeable; but in BOS, they're sometimes not-existing at all. I guess (hopefully) it's because of the beta status of the sim?

Me too: Bearcat :can you briefly explain how I can apply Total Game Control to BoS and if there are settings you might be able to recommend?

I have the excact same thing with my MSFF2 joystick. I could not imagine playing ROF without my MSFF2, but in BOS there are currently no benefits from using the joystick since there are no feedback on the ground nor in the air. I really hope it will implemented in the game later. I plugged in my Thrustmaster T.16.000 M joystick and it was so much easier to aim. I just don't want to use the T.16.000 since the MSFF2 makes flight simulators come alive with its force feedback. I wish my Thustmaster T.16.000 and MSFF2 could be merged. That would be the best joystick on the planet. Super precise and with Force Feedback Edited February 13, 2014 by 19te.Deafbee
