jerryb Posted November 17, 2018 Posted November 17, 2018 Hi, don't play often but I'm lost now. I have BOS on steam, with BOM and a couple of planes. I also have BOS that I bought from the 1C site with FC. The 1C version doesn't show BOM and the steam version doesn't show FC so I've ended up buying the FW190 for both. I understand that they should be linked now but I cannot figure out how, or am I mistaken? Any help would be great, thanks. J.

jerryb Posted November 21, 2018 Author Posted November 21, 2018 But how, I cannot see anything to activate with?
Seb71 Posted November 21, 2018 Posted November 21, 2018 I don't think you can activate Steam purchases on standalone client anymore. What you should be able to do is to link your Steam account with your il2 account (and by doing this, any purchases from the il2 webstore should be available in game when you start the game from Steam). Here is the account linking guide.
jerryb Posted November 21, 2018 Author Posted November 21, 2018 After starting iL2 from the icon it took ages to download an update and then played normally with just the content bought from the website. Closed it and reopened in Steam and got the "do you want to link accounts" thing this time. All working ok, the only question is, can I delete the Il2 folder and only play from Steam or do I need it on the PC, just trying to free up some space on the hard drive. Thanks for the help by the way.

jerryb Posted November 21, 2018 Author Posted November 21, 2018 Thanks, bit of hard drive cleaning coming up.
