Error : Config Errors found- what does this mean?

Recently I have been getting this Error message after leaving game.It doesn't seem to effect game play but is bothersome.I've done a 'Verify Game File on Steam with no effect & also re-installed game - still not joy. CFG Pool LOG looks like this:

startup.cfg: Not a number or boolean value 'input]' of variable '][key'
startup.cfg: Not a number or boolean value 'input]' of variable '][key'
startup.cfg: Not a number or boolean value 'input]' of variable '][key'
startup.cfg: Not a number or boolean value 'input]' of variable '][key'

Any ideas??

Suggestions:

• Guessing here, but in startup.cfg (game folder under /data), check the values listed under [KEY = input] to see if any are not a number or a boolean value (i.e., 0 or 1) that are supposed to be. 
  
  Here are my values:
  
  [KEY = input]
      exclusive = 1
      input_map = "input.map"
      mouse_plane_control = 0
      old_trackir = 0
