Hope it is real and in the plans for the near future. I would seriously consider this.

Oculus needs a kick in the pants.

The only part that concerns me thus far is the increase in FOV with what sounds like similar display panels in the Vive Pro. I really want a higher angular resolution. I would be happy with 135 degrees AND Vive Pro angular resolution.

Lets hope the Panels are RGB rather than Pentile display.

The speculation that we could be looking at a Half-life 2 prequel in VR is very exciting too.

Yes that is very exciting, and great for the VR growth as a whole.

HTC beat Oculus to the punch with controllers, albeit the Oculus Touch controllers when they did finally come out were superb.

Will be interesting if Valve beats them once again with a new PC-VR device.

I am a huge fan of Oculus, this however is definitely perking my interest.

As far as tracking and ease of setup and use, the Rift and Vive are tough to beat hands down.

Whilst speculation runs wild - why not throw out the possibility of eye tracking?

If you remember recently, Tobii announced plans to supply eye tracking to a yet unnamed headset manufacturer in 2019...

Could it be possible?

How cool that would be, if they have the tech for it to work well.

That coupled with a less bulky exterior than the pimax and we’d have a top tier contender.

In in any case, another company entering the market is wonderful news.

Half-life 3, it’s sensitive stuff this.

A video speculation about the images:

Bottom line: Most likely no large FOV, similar lenses to Vive

It is also practical the space for a USB device in the front, most likely a hand tracking like Leap Motion

I hope they increase resolution from VivePro.
