Joystickbutton as a 'modifier' (like shift, alt and ctrl) ?

I'm used to it where there are twice as many buttons in play, than you have on your X52 pro.
Is it a really hard task to do? If so I'll make a profile (that I hate making, and most of them are hopeless too)
