My buddy got hot up just like that except he lost an engine as well, he would have made it home but he lost control by trying to make too sharp of a turn. Not the best screenshot. ROCKET_KNUT Posted November 5, 2018 Posted November 5, 2018 (edited) What an aircraft! I just love this bird. Some time ago on KOTA: Direct hit in no. 1 engine which quit immediately. Managed to feather the prop and close the cowling, starting to limp back home. After a constant struggle for like half an hour the airfield was in sight. Did I mention I was leaking fuel all the time... You know what is coming, don´t you... Yes, within spitting distance of the field we ran out... So grab your ankles and make a funny face! The resulting "landing"... piece of cake! The crew chief will be apocalyptically cross, but now it is his problem... To sum it all up: The A-20 is such a great bird, you have to love it! Finkeren Posted November 5, 2018 Posted November 5, 2018 I love the A-20, but I gotta say, that it has a bit of a glass wing compared to the other medium bombers. 1
