IIN8II Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Here is the latest one! Really liking the new patch, although I have noticed a big dip in frames around Stalingrad. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQ_unm56qu4&feature=youtu.be 3
FlatSpinMan Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 That was really impressive. Simple idea I suppose but it had never occurred to me. I loved the way you slid in and out of focus on the flames. The explosion and debrtis actually looked quite lovely.
MarcoRossolini Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Damn but that fire really lends itself well to special effects. Really nice vid.
Fodder Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Very good, but why do the tracers appear to be going backwards?
FlatSpinMan Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Very good, but why do the tracers appear to be going backwards? Joking? The whole thing goes backwards.
steppenwolf Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Nice video. The game colors and lighting look amazing, sky and fire. Real sense of time of day.
IIN8II Posted February 8, 2014 Author Posted February 8, 2014 Thank you very much everyone! It was worth sitting around waiting for it to get dark. The game looks remarkable in the fading light! 1
Bassly Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Thank you very much everyone! It was worth sitting around waiting for it to get dark. The game looks remarkable in the fading light! I hope you atleast fast fowarded. Got to admit that the night sky is just beautiful. Can't wait to see the actual weather engine. Again, greatly done.
Trident_109 Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Like watching 'Memento." Nice job Nate. I'm always surprised at the music our flight sim movie makers choose. Many are quite adept at selecting just the right soundtrack to illustrate the mood of the film.

Mewt Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Great stuff. Digging the whole Dead Island trailer vibe.
II/JG17_HerrMurf Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 I want to see the, "To Ashes Ye Shall Return," cinematic version in forward mode now (same music). It would be a great recruitment video for a couple buddies who are on the fence right now. Really spectacular by the way.
Rederick Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Great video, watched several more of yours on your YouTube channel. Thanks for all the effort you put into making these. I did have one question for you, sorry if you have been asked this several times before.. But what control method are you using for your view while tracking enemy planes? Looks very smooth and accurate, mouse? Or something more? Thanks again.
SplashFriday Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 See, now that's what I'm talking about. Using a videogame to tell a story can be just as effective as any other medium if done properly. And this is a great example. Beautifully done. Thanks for sharing.
