Just a quick question

Hi Guys,

 

In regards to skins in the game.  If I have a new skin on can everyone see it in the game ?? or only if they have that skin in the folder and for everyone that does not have it they just see the default skin?

Nope, your only see the skin that you enabled on your client side. Imagine it this way, if all were flying lets say Bf 109E-7 but using different skins from other skinners they would be splattered on top of one another - talk about a train smash of textures.

So how would , say have a squad member see my skin and I see his ?

 

if I hand made two squad skins same skin but different nose art for example.

They just need to be installed on everyone's game and have the exact same filename. And you need to toggle "Custom Paint Schemes" on in the options to make custom skins from other players visible.

I might start and having a play around with some skins and see what I can come up with.

Well, as far as I know skins don't "stack" over each other. It's 1 or 0, you have a custom skin or you don't.
