Mr-Claude Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 While flying in multiplayer Wings of Liberty looking for targets out of nowhere I get shot down. This has happened a few times, always the same way. Am I being booted?
ShamrockOneFive Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 Out of nowhere you get shot down? Doesn't that answer the question or am I misunderstanding. If you got bounced then you may find yourself shot down very quickly. Keep your head on a swivel and your situational awareness up! If your question is more to do with multiplayer then probably the best place to ask is over in the multiplayer forum: https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/forum/83-multiplayer-servers-and-hosting/

wombatBritishBulldogs Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 A Large ping /lag and fast enemy plane can make life very difficult at times
Haza Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 Use the link below to check you flights etc as it might help to understand what if anything is happening! http://il2stat.aviaskins.com:8008/en/pilot/21941/Mr-Claude/?tour=40
Luftschiff Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 The short answer is no, being kicked from a server or similarly punished does not look like your plane being shot down. Judging from your logs you were shot down by a russian warplane piloted by a player, just like the rest of us.
Mr-Claude Posted November 1, 2018 Author Posted November 1, 2018 Ok, thanks for the answers. I just stink at this so far.
