Angel24Marin Posted October 27, 2018 Posted October 27, 2018 I have keep an eye in Il2:BoX series since a long time and with the current sale i want to give a try. But after doing my pre purchase homework i found that my current graphic card (Nvidia 920M) dont reach the minimun in theory. Currently i can play DCS:World with some ajustments (when in theory i shouldn`t) so can i make it work? I want to fully support the devs so i wanted to buy from their page but i cant find anything about refounds in case i can`t run it. So, better to buy in steam? Thanks and hope to be able to play when the pacific theatrer arrive ?
-TBC-AeroAce Posted October 27, 2018 Posted October 27, 2018 I would guess if you made the purchase knowing your rig does not meet the min requirement then that would be your fault and they should not have to refund you. But I have no idea.
BP_Lizard Posted October 27, 2018 Posted October 27, 2018 I was in the same dilemma when I bought my first Battle Of series, (Stalingrad). As much as I support the Developers, I wasn’t sure if my rig could run it. I got BoS from Steam in case of refund. The rest are from here.
P51DMatt Posted October 27, 2018 Posted October 27, 2018 If you're rig can run ROF, you can run this game just fine. Before I upgraded, I used to have GT 750M and the game ran at steady 30-40 FPS on Balanced.
Feathered_IV Posted October 27, 2018 Posted October 27, 2018 Maybe you could buy from Steam, see if it runs then refund it and re-buy here if it does. 1
[CPT]milopugdog Posted October 27, 2018 Posted October 27, 2018 If you buy it from Steam, there's a no questions asked refund if you're within two weeks of purchase, and two hours of play time. However, the refund to your card isn't instant, of course, so just be aware that you'll have both charges for something like 1-3 business days.
Lusekofte Posted October 27, 2018 Posted October 27, 2018 My impression is the GB run smoother than ROF, But GB is DX 11 and I do not know if that will be a issue

Feathered_IV Posted October 28, 2018 Posted October 28, 2018 I think the Stalingrad chapter is the least demanding on a lower-end system too, so maybe consider getting that if you can.
