HellriderCRO Posted October 26, 2018 Posted October 26, 2018 Hello guys. I am fresh in IL2 and I wanted to setup quick coop for couple of guys consisting of one airfield where we would spawn (Moscow package is only one I have), a bit further away small german ammo depo to blow up and generally lot of space to fly around, nothing special. So German ammo depo spot went nicely, but I am totally unable to setup spawn point for Soviet planes on ground. I start game via in game multiplayer menue and tried to create my own coop from there, but failed miserably . I ended up suspended in air with nothing happening. I was expecting to spawn at designated area (from youtube I found out that I needed that airfield (fakesomething... I forgot), but that did not do the trick. I also noticed when I select plane in that, it does not give me "player" option for difficulty choose, wich led me to belive that I am doing wrong thing. ANyway i hope that i was clear enought so you can help me. Thank you Tommy
JimTM Posted October 26, 2018 Posted October 26, 2018 (edited) You don't use spawn points (fakefield objects) for co-op missions. Instead, do the following: 1. Place a plane object for everyone you want in the mission and make them linked entities. 2. In the advanced properties for each plane, - Set an AI level, not "player". The AI flies the plane if a player does not select it. - Select "Cooperative Start" Edited October 26, 2018 by JimTM

Thad Posted November 18, 2018 Posted November 18, 2018 It is incumbent upon us all to cooperate on coop missions. ?
