Linking steam and il-2 account.

Just bought the the game a few days ago, prior to that I had created and IL - 2 account. When I go to the start-up of the game, it asks for me to link the accounts which I tried to.

It always fails because it says that either the email or the password is incorrect.

I've quadruple checked the information, even going so far as to change my password to make sure that it is in fact correct.

 

Nothing seems to work, I cant link the two accounts which in turn is preventing me from getting access to whatever benefits came with the purchase of the Premier Edition.

 

Any advice?

I just made a small purchase in the IL*2 store in your name to see if that might kick start the process.

Click on the IL*2 logo above and then click the Profile tab. On the drop down menu click Key Activation.

I that doesn't help contact support on the same page and request help.

I have this same problem, Steam purchased game and this new account I'm writing with, but game refuses to link to it.

It just keeps saying wrong email or password.
