=gRiJ=Roman- Posted October 23, 2018 Posted October 23, 2018 This is my question smart TV or PC Screen? My eternal dilemma .... I 've just got a smart HD TV 32´´ LG32LK51 and I would like to know if it is a good idea to replace my Samsung T24B300 PC Screen. I have always wondered if a TV can replace a PC screen or not. But I don´t know the tech part https://www.lg.com/uk/tvs/lg-32LK510BPLD https://www.samsung.com/uk/monitors/led-s24b300b/
Mitthrawnuruodo Posted October 23, 2018 Posted October 23, 2018 (edited) It's a terrible idea. The TV has an awful 1366x768 resolution (that's about half the pixel count of the 1920x1080 monitor). You'd lose a lot of detail. Furthermore, the TV has a poor 50 Hz refresh rate. The input lag is probably atrocious. There is nothing that can prevent you from using the TV for gaming, but it will not be a nice experience. Edited October 23, 2018 by Mitthrawnuruodo
