Oil on goggles?

Is these bug or some transwer from FC into BOX effect?

 

Strange that after engine hit pilot in BOX ( WW2 era) got sometimes oil leaks on his googles where all windsrcreen is no damage or not ejected canopy. Oil should be places on front and side windscreen not in cabin in pilot goggles.

 

Is these new hollywod effect or so?
