Not that I've seen. You'll just have to look through the various topics here to see what people think of them.

As for me: I've owned three of his throttles and have liked all of them. The build quality is excellent, his communication is great, and he makes sure you get exactly what you want. There's not anything I'd change with the one he recently built for me.

I understand your concern. I guess the reason why you don’t see reviews is that folks who commission a build recognize that their unit is not part of a “production” line. Once you touch one of GVL224’s controllers you understand. Of course it is very unlikely that such an opportunity will present itself. If you did have opportunity to purchase one “second hand” I find it difficult to believe that the owner would have abused it. If you were to purchase an example it seems unlikely you would thereafter give thought to whether you might be able to break even by selling it later on.

Very happy with mine. Vitaly will work with you to make the throttle you want, build quality is excellent, and it's a custom piece built just for you.

I'll just add my agreement that Vitaly is a nice guy and his throttles are of excellent quality made by someone who's put a lot of thought into what flight simmers want. Also, price-wise they come in cheaper than any of the other commercial stuff out there.

I'd recommend them to anyone:salute:

The build quality is excellent, Vitaly is easy to communicate with, I just need to calibrate mine properly!

I, too, would recommend them to anyone:salute:

While you cannot go wrong with the customization options or the passion of Vitaly, I eventually went with the Virpil throttle and "retired" my GVL.  It was just a tad "squeaky" in the build components and while mine worked perfectly, the other three sets our group bought each had one of the He111 axis not working.

We tried to get it sorted and Vitaly attempted to help, but the language barrier was simply too great.

I've had mine maybe 6 months. One of my buttons is less sensitive than others. A light tap won't register as push of a button. Otherwise the throttle has been working great.
