Map information

I regularly play offline campaigns but wondered whether there was any reference material on the information marked on the maps. By this I don't mean flight paths or plane icons, but the various ovals, semi circles and triangles marked in red or blue denoting army movements. What do these actually mean?

I would like to see something like this too. I've figured some thing out - there's a kind of stick, oval and some lines that I've discovered denote flak units - you can see them clustered around airfields. And theres some horseshoe shaped castle looking things that I think represent static defensive positions. But a legend of sorts would be nice. I wonder if its using standard military cartography?

Diamond symbol: armor

Arrow symbol: infantry

Ovals with parallel lines are howitzers and field guns.

Do the howitzers and field guns include heavy flak guns?

I don't think so. These are just the guns that are considered to be field artillery.
