So long as the depth buffer is available already (and I think this is the case), ASW 2 should be either in without any effort from the devs or with minimal effort.

I was just about to make a post about this. it looks like the game will need to provide oculus with a "depth feed" value.

I am hoping that if this is implemented it finally gets rid of the prop artifacts we tend to see when ASW kicks in.
