Hope this unlucky guy has a good insurance...

Does this count as a victory or is it a groundkill? ?

S!

I really wonder how the mechanic managed to bypass all the safety measures etc. to fire the gun on ground. The gatling requires 3000psi of hydraulic power to rotate, electricity, weight off wheels info, possibly landing gear uplock info, signal from armament computer and speed/altitude data from air data computer etc. Sure, the F-16 can be different from F-18 I work with, but it is next to impossible to fire the gun on the ground on it.
