I think RoF was not ment to fligh at high Altitude but BoS is WW2..

The Brightness (and the size of the band) of the Horizon is scarying me. The view from high altitude in BoS should be much better i think. I hope the DN Engine can handle this.

Right now it's about the same. Maybe a bit better, but still feels like in a fish bowl.

I hope it will change. I remember seeing something about the visibility range in one of the very first videos. Maybe they didn't implement it yet.... I hope.

I suppose that the sky over Volgograd is an ever changing canvas, so my picture below does not show how the shy looks all the time. That pointed out, from the picture below, I get the impression that the in game sky is a plausible and realistic looking sky. So, I am trying to understand, what exactly is wrong with the brightness and the size of the horizon band in game? Thank you for your consideration of my question.

Last time I have been on a plane was in summer and I only reached 12000ft (parachute jump), but what I can say is that compared to the view I had on that particular sunny day, most simulators exgarate the view distance and image clarity. Perhaps on a frosty day the air is less "dense", there is less vapour in it and such, and you can see clearly further, but I remember that after that flight I was amazed on how well RoF reflects what you see at altitude. I actually discussed this with a couple of people who play sims as well and the conclusion was that what you see in RoF is closest to reality that has been achieved.

I love BoS but i think i have stop to compare the view from altitude to CloD TF 4.00 :(

You should compare it to real world, not to another game.
