Linked road bridges and railway bridges

CONFIRMED CONFIRMED, when you linked a bridge, despite it still have a normal look, there is a kind of invisible shape around it. Vehicles and trucks can't cross it anymore. They explode or fall in the river once they reach the bridge. It's the same for the road bridges. If i unlink the bridge the vehicles can cross the bridge safely  This is a BUG. A big one, as it is now impossible to add bridges in scenarios. 

 

Let say you want your train stops when the next bridge have been destroyed.... It is not possible anymore. !!!!

SAS_Storebror... I misdescribed the problem.

 

The bridge still visible but there is a kind of invisible shape around it.  I updated my first post. 

 

Try to link the bridge, set it a country and try to cross it with a train.... You will have a surprise.

 

This has been confirmed by another campaign editor...

I can confirm the problem. Major issue for me, as my dynamic campaign has columns moving over bridges to transfer supplies and invade regions.

This plus fake blocks.... All my work is on hold and so our campaign is (IRRE LBDK)

As mentioned before in the mission builders forum topic. This is a major bug to mission designing.

It should because it was in the beta. As soon i finished the update, i will run my test missions i used for the beta.

I ran my test in single and multiplayer  (with 2 others players) a few minutes ago, and it works fine.

 

May you give me the map and the location of the bridge where you have the problem, because when i ran tests during the beta, i found a bridge which has the problem on Stalingrad map.

Coconut, i checked your mission, and i have the problem. But the problem is between that kind of vehicle and that kind of bridge. If you use another vehicle, it works fine. I enclose a test on the same bridge with the same vehicle which follows a truck. The truck cross the bridge, but not the object Gaz-m.mgm (debug_coconut_02_v2.0.mission) when the bridge is an Entity.

 

I enclose one of my test mission for the beta (single mission) named : PX_Test_Vehicles_crossing_bridge_03.mission which is on Stalingrad map.

I enclose too the same mission as the previous one where i add the gaz-m.mgm vehicle, and it works fine too. PX_Test_Vehicles_crossing_bridge_06.mission

 

I'm going to report the bug.

Thanks for checking, Habu! Maybe the problem is limited to that vehicle and the bridges on the Lapino map.

I think it's the kind of bridges, and that object Gaz-m.mgm(but i didn't test all kind of vehicles). I tested on another location on lapino which has the same bridge and the bug is here. But there is another point, if the bridge is not an entity, sometimes, the object Gaz-m.mgm cross the bridge, and when the bridge is an entity, the object gaz-m.mgm is damaged by the bridge. 

 

If you look closely to the bridge where the vehicle is damaged, you can see that it's where 2 part of the bridge are linked, and the two parts of the bridge are not well adjusted.

 

So if that kind of bridge is on another map, i think that Gaz-m.mgm will be damaged.

For information, the dev answered to my bug report. The bug is on the bridge which is build incorrectly, they will check all bridges and fix them. So, only a few bridges don't work.

Here is another bridge that does not work. Note that the vehicle that gets damage should have enough allowance to cross the threshold.

On the Coconut normal early Stalingrad map, there are also bridges that dont work, convoys will not cross them... in this case its map grid 1113  keypad 3...
