Flying with teared off wing!

Was flying on Finnish dynamic war server last night, trying out new naval bases and objectives.

Hats down to server admins for constant improvements!

I was flying yak7 and after i dropped the bombs on a ship and while rolling out dodging bullets flak managed to hit me and tear off 1/3 of my RH wing.

It was so immersive struggling with plane stability and landing home safely.

 

Next sortie i took A-20 and tried my luck again, can't wait for PTO and torpedo tech.

Nice, I've never managed to stay flying with any portion of my wing shot off, I always go spinning out of control.

 

I also can't wait for the Pacific, many of the allied plane-set will be useable with a late war pacific scenario. Flying P-47s over New Guinea or taking off in a Devastator during Midway or the Coral Sea would be a dream come true. I can't wait.
