DetCord12B Posted September 28, 2018 Posted September 28, 2018 Jason Padgett was never a good student, or even a mediocre student. He failed almost every math class in high school and was always more concerned with drinking and partying than anything else. That is until he suffered a TBI or Traumatic Brain Injury when he was attacked and beaten outside a bar in Tacoma, Washington. He woke up in the hospital with the ability to visualize complex mathematical objects and physics concepts intuitively. The injury, while devastating, seems to have unlocked part of his brain that makes everything in his world appear to have a mathematical structure. Since his injury, he's worked closely with Neil deGrasse Tyson and the late Stephen Hawking on mathematical visualization and theory solving. Jason Padgett has savant syndrome. This is f#@kin' nuts.
Danziger Posted September 28, 2018 Posted September 28, 2018 Sometimes getting your ass kicked really bad is all you need to turn your life around. 2
InProgress Posted September 28, 2018 Posted September 28, 2018 Kind of annoying that brain can do so much but it's all locked for some reason. Also funny how his life changed. He would probably work in gas station and drink 6pack everyday while having kids with 3 different women and living in trailer park got hit in head and got great life. Sometimes luck is all you need to have great life. Kind of unfair :< 1
Cybermat47 Posted September 28, 2018 Posted September 28, 2018 Who would’ve guessed that being beaten by some random dickhead could be such a good thing?
Guest deleted@50488 Posted September 28, 2018 Posted September 28, 2018 (edited) Our brains are throttled ? I guess it's meant to be like that, until the next release of "drivers" is made available for the next Earth cycle…. ? Edited September 28, 2018 by Von-Target

Rolling_Thunder Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 Try it at home kids. 999999 times out of a million and you'll end up with a permanent dribble or worse. This guy got lucky.
