What version do I need?

It has been over a year since I played CLOD.  I have it on steam and the version that shows up is TEAM FUSION V4.312

i suppose that STEAM keeps me updated with the version I need for online play.  Is that true?

 

I did notice in multiplayer that there were no servers to be found at 10:00 PM Eastern USA time.

You need to update to 4.5 Blitz.

Cliffs has been updated to the 4.5 version as Spiritus_Mortem says, this is under a different game in your Steam library, "IL-2 Sturmovik Cliffs of Dover Blitz" and is separate to the old 4.3 and earlier Cliffs.

Not update is required, but install IL-2 Sturmovik Cliffs of Dover Blitz (4.50) as new game - is available in your STEAM Library, will be used different folders than 4.312 - beware that this version is no longer available for install, case you don't like the new (as many).
