Player bigounet is constantly exiting the battle without damage, to the point where  it's starting to be extremely annoying. I have recorded the last few times he did it if necessary, but anyone who's been trying to fly on the late war arena lately can certainly attest to that.

Of course it's only a practice server but having more variety would be better.

For those that don't know, the Spitfire Mk XIV and the typhoon are now on the server with most of the mods.

Guys.. Firstly thanks to everyone for making this a great server to do battle on.

I just wanted to ask if there is any way to exit a flight to respawn, without giving a kill to an opponent even though I've been hit by a single bullet?

I've tried usual landing and engine off but with no luck, however I'm sure i've seen opponents manage to do it even after taking a bashing?

You just hit escape and finish flight, your airplane just disaeres, most ppl on berloga do this if they start to get shoot or see enemy is catching them, most dont land or bails out when option to end flight at any time is turned on. Its just practice server, no one cares about kills here you can do what ever you wont.

is it possible to have felids set up with matched balanced plane sets,

 

I see it is kind of set that way with a late war base and a wwI base   but I see crazy yaks spits  Typhoon in east fields are they hauling  over?

 

can you make bases that  are limited to say Battel of Britten planes only or Africa . in other words  strictly limit plane sets  at each  set of bases to Early mid and late war?

its practice server, just having ww1 and ww2 split is more then expected, its simple duel server with area for practice df and so on... its not ment to be semi-historical server, there is other server options for that.

If you add period specific areas for server that usealy have 20-40 ppl on at same time, you get no practice as you have to have to many areas and players are spred out betwen them, you end up playing vs AI and at that point your better of practice in QM they way you wont ppl to play, just using AI.

Hauling planes over to different fields is claimed to be strictly forbidden in the rules. I've never seen it myself, but if you find out who they are report them.

Friendly reminder that P-51B is out and can added to both areas.
 

Early Zone P-51B without engine, fuel, and gyro modifications, since is a 1943 plane is totally valid. Also it doesn't have 6MGs, has 4MG, keep that on mind. 

Before someone tells me that P-51B will outperform germans. So La-5FN. And that is worst, has cannons, climbs better, accelerates better that P-51B, but is earlier than P-51B.

 

Late Zone P-51B with all modifications available, since those are 1944 mods.

 

Last suggestion: Increase a bit the ping limit. 180 is really low sometimes

It's a Great Server - my go to because I don't have the time to get into sophisticated battle scenarios, as much as I would liek to...

 

Either as Anatoli-Kagari9 or jcomm-il2, you will find me there quite often ?

 

Now looking fwd for the P51B to get added ...

 

Heck, I can't make a living out of the Axis planes though, or even other than the P51D ...

 

But all of this thanks to, in the very first place, to the extraordinary 1C / 777 team !!!!

I saw 1 week ago a good pilot (named "dogfighter") performs a massacre of blue planes in the late zone with the 51-b (something like 25 or 30 kills for 0 losse). It's a too good plane for go at Berloga early zone IMO. Must be finely handeled, for sure.

Because, we don't have russian fighter after La-5FN which is late 43 plane...

Dogefighter, is one of the best allied pilot at moment around online....he massacre ? usually  Axis planes  also on Finnish server...

Yep my friend, but it's a good performance anyway... and good pilots don't need to do disconnects or other stupid stuff, so he don't.

 

The stats system in Berloga is a bit silly: it count like a kill after a refly, even for a scratch on paintschemes...: a gift for laser guns and straight ballistics ?

I'm still new to all of this but am managing to get a few hits on the opposition. Are there any RRR locations on the maps ? If not then what do I do when I run out of ammunition ? 

 

Also, is there a way to chat with players on the same team while in a dogfight ?

JUMP or just crashland on field (without wheels down) or if you can (difficult) land on a road with wheels down 

 no RRR  

ctrl +enter  when writing to your own team   (you will see the colour different in full blue)

I know that australians aren't supposed to expect good latency on foreign servers, but it's really annoying that Berloga now returns the message 'no response from server' so often. Finnish works fairly well, why not Berloga (anymore). Berloga used to be playable, before this problem.

It was fine at the weekend.

 

I'm getting much better at dogfighting but usually have to bail out of a perfectly serviceable aircraft when I run out of ammo. Can we not have an airfield where we can land, refuel, repair and reload ?

When I was on last week there was a player on saying Berloga would end soon because of lack of donations, that may be the case now?

I really hope the server gets back online soon, but in the meantime I managed to create a temporary back-up version, with absolute credit to the originator SDV_Fin*19_

 

It has an older planeset for now but I will try and update if/as I can.

Ok. Didn't see yours but someone else had the same idea, it appears. There is another server using the berloga_dd map. Can't remember the name, but it starts with an R.
