Dear pilots,

The two next Bodenplatte aircraft are not yet finished, but we have decided not to wait for them and release the update that contains the results of our work since 3.005 release. There is a lot of changes, fixes and improvements, some of them are long-awaited ones.

Many graphical effects were reworked and some new ones were added. Other fixes include Career mode, multiplayer, AI and collision system improvements. There is a new content as well - new modifications were added for Fw 190 A-8. The full change list follows:

I apologize for what follows now, still have to ask it. I appreciate what you've done. That said: When do you plan to fix the A-20 firing arcs, the MW50 behaviour on the G-14 and the overheating of the Fw190 (in particular the A-8)?

Anyone else getting the error 10003 This plane is not available for your account (or plane data modified) when trying unsuccessfully to launch a quick mission? Happening for me with every aircraft selected.

 

Also getting the same message in the Scripted campaigns.

Tanks can be used in MP all the time but now some issues with them have been fixed. Also the update mentions netcode improvements.

Ok stop reporting the 1003 error. We're aware of it.

 

Edit: We've had some server overload issues internally that need to be sorted. We'll get it fixed. Just be patient.

That's cool it should help us get rid or magical AAA shooting us down through trees.

Patch always takes a while. Don’t worry if you can’t download within a few minutes of the announcement. Sometimes takes a couple of hours. All is well, all is well.

A good long list of fixes, but somehow I do not find this fix particularly comforting :   19. Bug fix: Spitfire Mk.VB/IXe fuel leak will stop when the left wing is lost;

 

I think it is a good idea to keep the bug fix and small additions separate from the main content releases as you have done here, makes it easier to grasp.

Great news, thanks! I look forward to re-benchmarking in VR and seeing how the damage physics improvement helps out. I was definitely seeing some stutters when planes get damaged, so this might fix that. Nice job.

Also getting 80kps on the dowload... Steam usually lets me get 10mps so this is abit of a downgrade. ?

Yeah, but now there are visual effects if its set wrong, so if you want to look cool and elite, you gotta monitor it more or you'll have smoke trails and everyone will point and laugh.
