Very sad, but as Revvin said, it's kinda hard to feel sorry for a man who managed to achieve so much with his own life, yet throws it all away with drugs. 

 

I was not aware of his drug problems, and to be honest I'm sort of disappointed, I would have never expected anything like that from a man of such intelligence and acting skills...

Gotta say I was kind of saddened to hear it, but then I read that it was probably from a heroin OD with his children due the next day, and that made me a lot less sympathetic. Still a shame but he brought it on himself and let his kids down in the worst way.

It still makes it no less sad...

 

It is easy to sit from the vantage point of sobriety and pass judgement on those caught up in the throes of  addiction .. but for every person addicted to some kind of substance the things that drive that addiction are very different and it is not as simple as just choosing to "not do it" or to "get help" ... or loving your substance more than those around you.
