points to the official ELITE pages ( Swiss ) although there is also ELITE USA with the same announcement.

As a long time ELITE user I am a satisfied customer of this new version which brings new features to the theme. I look forward for additional stuff, while I enjoy the new / wide instrument panels. Could make it work on multiple monitors and even in 4k, but I do not own such hardware :-)

The flight sim „minus flight“. Has been around for ages, then the only one with certain realism in cockpit operation. But does that really make sense today? What is there now in there that is not included in good flight sim addons?

Well, IMO many things, for those wantng to train IFR at home, using good replicas of the rw counterparts for each of the aircraft model representatives in ELITE's fleet.

This includes many details in systems modeling, things that havin't been achieved in any of the widely used civil flightsims ( desktop ) even with teh best add-ons.

Just to give you na exemple among the many possible, take the PT-6 model used in the B200...

It must be better in modelling the instrumentation stack and systems, as I do recognize its dedicated userbase. It probably features a number of aircraft, where systems modelling is not, say, main priority.
