1CGS BlackSix Posted October 18, 2018 1CGS Posted October 18, 2018 There will be a lot of ground attack units throughout all career I./SG 4 (Fw 190 F-8) II./SG 4 (Fw 190 F-8) III./KG 51/NSGr. 20 (Fw 190 F-8/G-8) NSGr. 1 (Ju 87 D-3) NSGr. 2 (Ju 87 D-3) 4 2 2

I could see those being pretty interesting.
1CGS BlackSix Posted October 18, 2018 1CGS Posted October 18, 2018 I can't answer, I don't create any missions for the career, only for the scripted campaigns. This question also concerns Soviet U-2VS, which is mainly used as a night bomber. 1

Zooropa_Fly Posted October 19, 2018 Posted October 19, 2018 Anyone have an idea if the '262 will have fuel tank management included ?

Fuel tanks management was unofficially announced long time ago, now it's not sure if we we will have this feature implemented. It would be great but it has not been officially announced yet. This mechanics applies to all aircraft, not just Me-262, although in the case of Me-262 and American long-range fighters like P-51, P-47, P-38 the lack of manual fuel tank management would be much more important than in tactical planes from the Eastern front.

PatrickAWlson Posted October 19, 2018 Posted October 19, 2018 I wonder how sophisticated current algorithms are with respect to fuel usage. We know that airplanes perform better with less fuel, so there is certainly some modeling. If you add fuel management then you have to get pretty detailed in the modeling of the effects of fuel usage from different tanks - impact on CoG, impact of fuel sloshing about. The P51 is a good example: the center tanks caused instability to the extent that they were drained before even external tanks were used.

If you pay attention to your fuel gauges in flight in various planes you´ll see that certain tanks get emptied before others. If the order is correct idk.

I´m already worried about where to put the p47 turbo

SOLIDKREATE Posted October 20, 2018 Posted October 20, 2018 The P-51D is going to clean all your clocks =o)
EAF19_Marsh Posted October 21, 2018 Posted October 21, 2018 I keep mentally replaying the vomiting scene... But the Mustang is one that I am keen to fly. 1

SCG_ErwinP Posted October 22, 2018 Author Posted October 22, 2018 (edited) How are special collector's planes available for purchase? Shortly after the master planet has been developed or can it be before? How was it with past editions (BoS, BoM, BoK)? Edited October 22, 2018 by 3./JG15_HansPhilipp

In the past its always been everything gets made and fully released, then collector planes are sold separately.

This may have been on steam though.

Or do you mean aircraft that haven't even been announced yet? In the first instance I'm not sure but you will get them already anyways. The 2nd instance no one knows if we'll even get extra collector aircraft (probably will though) Edited October 23, 2018 by Legioneod
