BRADYS555 Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 I know there area lot of throttle controller threads about but I was wondering if any one had a distilled "opinion" on the subject of what was considered the best one available at present, I have never been entirely happy with the Warthog Throttle controller, and Virpril's looks interesting, but there are also some "small batch" ones available it would seam that might be even better.
dburne Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 IMHO for a multi purpose throttle, since you already have the Warthog I would say the Virpil offering. Be aware it does not have a slew control, granted the Warthog slew is not that great. If you are talking mainly for WWII type combat flight sim, I would say the GVL throttles would be well worth checking into. VKB says more information should be coming "soon" on their throttle offering, but who knows when that might be actually available.
Sokol1 Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 An alternative is instead buy an new throttle buy an auxiliary controller for supply the lacks of Warthog throttle for WWII planes, adding rotaries/levers, like this GVL224 "box". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X5K0yDL2oak If play "jet's" can replace Warthog bad slew with better version. https://deltasimelectronics.com/
