Hi All,

I'm new to IL2 in general and to FC specifically.  I use a hotas warthog w a force sensing mod for the flight stick, which even when set at the highest sensitivity, and 0 within the IL2 control setup,  still takes more force than reasonable to obtain full deflection of the ailerons and elevators.  Do i have any other options to increase sensitivity to both the pitch and roll axes that I'm not yet aware of?

Thx

I'm not familiar with your warthog mod (is it something with strain gauges similar to the Saitek X65 ?)

But if I understand correctly your problem, putting some deadzone in the edges on your axis in the key mapping screen should achieve what you are looking for.

Is this some sort of force feedback?

Hi Motoadve,

It's a forcing sensing mod.  Kinda like in an F-16, the stick barely moves, but transmits how hard you pushed on it and in what direction in order to activate the control surfaces accordingly.  It's extremely precise.

Only for the Warthog?

Realsimulator FSSB is only compatible with Thrustmaster Cougar and Warthog sticks grips. Maybe, by legacy, with Virpil T50 grips.

A 100mm extension with the Hog mounted on a Wheel Stand Pro Warthog adapter right in front of my scrotum solved my Warthog problems. No more deadzones, sensitivity at defaults, fluid precise  movements. Too bad no force feedback, but then I may grab the wrong stick:)
