Obviously, the only thing wrong with German aircraft is, that they have a remarkable tendency to lose wars.

 

I mean: throughout the latter half of the 19th Century the fledgeling German state was pretty good at winning wars, then they start using aircraft and BOOM! Suddenly they are losing one after another.
